The “Principal’s Summer Reading Challenge” is about to begin! The Challenge begins May 21 (after the last day of school). All students who will be entering first through fifth grades, for the 2011-2012 school year, are invited to participate. Everyone who reads at least 25 books during the summer will receive an award. The student who reads the most books in each grade level and the student who reads the most pages in each grade level will be given a special award. Students must turn in the reading report sheet (see attachment) to their homeroom teacher on the first day of school, August 16, to be eligible for the awards.
