MCS Family Resources

As a Christian school, one of our main responsibilities is to partner with parents to assist them in the education, training, and upbringing of their children from a Biblical perspective. In many ways, it is getting tougher and tougher to truly be a source of help, hope and encouragement to families because of the cultural climate in which we live. However, we also live in a day in which we have access to more information and helpful Christian resources due to modern technology, internet sites, books, DVDs, journals, magazines, seminars, etc. than any generation before.

I am sure that many of you are familiar with some of the following web sites, but I want to encourage each of our families to take a fresh look and see what is available to you as a parent. (These are by far some of my favorite sites on the internet)

www.family.org Focus on the Family
www.josh.org Josh McDowell Ministry
www.barna.org The Barna Group – Christian based research and resource site
www.hispeace.org Biblical principles for responding to conflict
www.probe.org Renewing the Mind, Equipping the Church, Engaging the World
www.ccv.org Citizens for Community Values
www.wiredsafety.org Wired Safety, the largest online safety, education and help group in the world.
